A Jesus Movement
A Jesus Movement in Wellness is about honoring God with our lives and bodies. God wants His daughters to be healthy. True health is found in Jesus. Living for Him, walking with Him, and seeking Him. We take good care of the bodies He has given us by eating the food HE created, exercising, and resting. Jesus is where peace comes from. Making practical healthy choices are part of being a good steward of your body. Believing that anything outside of God can protect you, fill you, bring you peace, or heal you is a deception.
Idolatry in Wellness
We don't contaminate what God has given us with idols, new age, or witchcraft. The enemy has infiltrated the wellness space and has women opening themselves up to the demonic through things like burning sage, crystals, yoga, chanting, reiki, chakras and meditation. Pagan practices are being repackaged as wellness, but they still serve the same purpose. The enemy wants to gain access to you. Demonic spirits consider human bodies their homes, but if you knew they were trying to gain access you wouldn't let them in, and if you knew they were there you wouldn't let them stay. Matthew 12:43-44 tells us they can't find rest outside of a human body. Because of this they do what they can to gain access and stay hidden. Satan is the father of lies and disguises himself as an angel of light. These practices are being sold to women under the guise of "wellness", but they are demonic, pagan practices.
Our Mission
At AJM Wellness our mission is to build God's Kingdom and glorify Jesus. We do that by helping God's daughters with their health and to set them free from the lies, bondage, and deception of the enemy.
